Art Process

My process entails a visual form of storytelling conveying emotional expression through overlapping layers of paint. Dialoguing with my inner canvas through the use of lines, shapes, textures and colors, I am able to give image to what life experiences feel and look like visually. Through art making I am able to capture a moment, a tactile representation of thoughts and feelings on the canvas. I work primarily with acrylic paints utilizing various means to create textures and movement throughout my art cultivating inspiration from nature and other organic shapes and colors.
